I’m a full-stack problem-solver with a thing for structure, strategy, and sandwiches (in no particular order). I’ve led marketing and program management efforts at customer-driven brands like REI, Okta, and Auth0—connecting developers, communities, and customers in ways that keeps things human.
I build programs, workflows, and experiences that make teams more effective and ideas more doable. I also love speaking about overcoming fear, building habits, community building, and the occasional misadventure. Whether I’m launching an initiative or untangling a messy system, I bring order to chaos without killing the creative energy.

This quarter, I’m continuing to challenge myself to grow in public speaking, leadership, and storytelling. I joined a local Toastmasters chapter, and honestly, I’m excited and a little nervous to start honing my speaking and communication skills. My first role was joke master and I've never been so nervous to tell a joke!

Just a few nice things former coworkers, vendors, and managers have said about working with me.
"Kristy has been one of the most reliable, organized, strategic, and friendly teammates I had in the organization. She is a proactive teammate that helps others get set up for success by using her expertise to lead, teach, and empower others. She helped build lasting relationships not only across the organization but also with external people. These relationships will have lasting impact in our work and outcomes."
- Coworker at Auth0 by Okta
“Kristy has a deep knowledge and skill set in outdoor education and programming logistics. The ability to think through many moving parts of varying projects and find the best outcome is something she does incredibly well. She is incredibly driven at work to find the most efficient way of getting work done for herself and the team. She also excels at thinking from the perspective of the customer and putting their needs first which is a valuable skill to have in any industry. ”
- Former Manager at REI Outdoor Experiences
"You held our team together with a great mix of humor, professionalism and deep caring! Thank you for constantly seeking improvement for everything we did, holding us accountable to be great instructors, and always being willing to keep it real!"
- REI Outdoor Experiences Guide
"I worked with Kristy as part of the Developer Relations team at Auth0 by Okta. She ran the Auth0 Ambassadors program single-handedly and was a joy to work with. Kristy was always improving the program with engaging speakers, events, and more fluid communications. She's an excellent community builder and I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again!"
- Coworker at Auth0 by Okta
"Kristy is smart, talented, and creative. She excels at creating systems and processes and is able to quickly learn new tools. We worked together to build and grow the Auth0 Ambassadors program, navigating many challenges along the way. Kristy never backed down from an obstacle and always kept the community as her first priority. She quickly garnered the support and goodwill of all of the Ambassadors as she nurtured the program and improved its day-to-day operations.
Kristy is a world class executor. She will relentlessly pursue a task until it's complete, which she's able to accomplish through her knack for project management and her personal organization systems. In fact, Kristy became our go-to person on our team for tools and processes, first with Monday.com, then with Asana."
- Manager at Auth0 by Okta
"Kristy and I worked together for one year at REI Adventures. In that time, Kristy was an important contributor to the team. She solved numerous elevated customer service issues, collaborated with operation vendors, domestic and international, daily, and played a big part in helping launch a new invoice system. She brought forth thoughtful ideas and a refreshing perspective that challenged the team to look at things differently. That’s a great asset to have on a team with little turnover. In addition, her success in outdoor education and leadership is extremely impressive and says a lot about her abilities. Her next employer will be lucky to have her."

After finishing the Google Data Analytics Professional Certification course, I decided to take on the optional capstone project to put my skills into action. It was a hands-on way to practice everything from preparing and cleaning data to analyzing trends, creating visualizations, and programming with R.
